CMS DN 32 Filter

Filters are a series of angled strainers carefully designed to ensure proper flow conditions. Filters are used before pumps, compressors, etc. for the initial start-up of the plant and where permanent filtration of the refrigerant is required. The filter reduces the risk of unwanted system failures and reduces wear and tear on plant components.

All valves are leak tightness tested. It is recommended to use the valve only in closed circuits. Please contact CMS Valve for more information.

  • Applies to HCFC, HFC, R717 (ammonia), R744 (CO₂) and all flammable refrigerants. It is recommended to use the filter only in closed circuits.
  • Made of special, cold-resistant steel.
  • The valve is designed to withstand high internal pressure.
Things To Pay Attention
  • The top cover must be removed before welding to prevent damage to the seal between the strainer housing and the top cover. Only materials and welding methods compatible with the valve housing material should be applied to the valve housing. Clean the strainer housing internally to remove welding residues.
  • The outer surface of the strainer housing must be protected against corrosion with a suitable protective coating during and after installation.
